I wonder what the copier service people would charge to remove the disk
and then reinstall it after DBAN, so that you were not paying for the disk?
I asked them this question. They said that the only service that they
offer is the one where I end up with 3 $300 hard drives on my desk.
Pulling an image off of the drive before I poke it with a stick is a
good idea. I'm going to get my EIDE -> USB adapter from home and try it
out.
