Only if you promise not to laugh at my amateurish coding! I only taught 
myself enough to make some spreadsheets at the water plant. I found that 
I could do everything using the various forms of 'IF', so that is were I 
stopped learning.

I can share the latest one, the one that I have trouble with. Having it 
filled out will help to explain how is works. I use quick-picks, so no 
secrete number will be revealed. The two buttons at the bottom of the 
page were for things that didn't pan out.

I tried value(), and it seems to work. I altered one column of the 
spreadsheet that I am attaching.
